Our visit to Darjaniya Tal on World Environment Day (7 July)

Our visit to Darjaniya Tal (lake) on the occasion of World Environment Day was an unforgettable experience. Accompanied by our class teacher, Sir Prabhat, and Mam Neeta, as well as our principal, we embarked on a journey of exploration and appreciation for nature. What made the trip even more special was the presence of the principal of Masih Sevashram School, who joined us for this excursion.

As we boarded our school bus, excitement filled the air. The journey to the lake was filled with laughter and joy, as we entertained ourselves by singing songs and playing games. The scenic views along the way added to the charm of the trip, making it a delightful adventure.

Upon arriving at Darjaniya Tal, we were immediately captivated by its serene beauty. The sparkling blue water mirrored the clear sky above, creating a picturesque scene. Little did we know that the lake was home to two crocodiles, which added a touch of thrill to our visit. We observed them from a safe distance, marveling at their majestic presence.

During our time at the lake, we were treated to refreshing fruit drinks, particularly Maaza, and delicious bananas. The sweet and tangy flavors provided the perfect respite from the summer heat, rejuvenating us for the rest of our exploration.

Eager to expand our horizons, we also visited the nearby bank of the river Gandak. Its flowing waters carried a sense of tranquility, and we took a moment to appreciate the beauty and power of nature. The sight of the river left a lasting impression on our hearts, reminding us of the importance of preserving our natural resources.

As our excursion came to an end, we began our return journey. However, our adventure didn't stop there. Our kind-hearted principal allowed us to visit Masih Sevashram School on our way back. Although classes were in session, we couldn't meet the students, but we did get to see the magnificent church on the school premises. Its architecture and peaceful ambiance left us in awe.

Additionally, we had the opportunity to explore the school's aquarium, filled with colorful fish of various sizes and shapes. It was a delightful sight that further deepened our appreciation for the wonders of the natural world.

As we headed back to our own school, our hearts were filled with gratitude for the incredible experience we had. The visit to Darjaniya Tal not only allowed us to connect with nature but also offered valuable insights into the importance of preserving our environment. We returned with a renewed commitment to be guardians of our planet and spread awareness about the need to protect our ecosystems.

Overall, our class trip to Darjaniya Tal was an enriching and joyous adventure. It reminded us of the beauty and diversity that nature has to offer, as well as the responsibility we have to safeguard it for future generations.
